The Hydro-Jet Minnow Traps
The Hydro-Jet minnow trap was sold by Fairfax Engineering of Kansas City,
KS. We're not sure how early they were sold, but they were advertized in
1951 and maybe earlier. The Hydro-Jet was made from TeniteII, a plastic
material touted as being "tough as a football helmet". The funnel was marked
inside "Hydro-Jet, a Featherlite product, Throat 1 1/4", and either K.C.
Kansas, or Ozark, Mo. The clear one here has no city listed on the trap.
