The HAWCO Minnow Traps

The HAWCO minnow traps were sold by the Shakespeare Company, and possibly under the HAWCO name. Not much is currently know about HAWCO, except that they marketed  fishing tackle in the early 1900's and for some years later. The first HAWCO trap ( o-shaped feet) came in a wooden box, with the name stenciled on the side. Not sure about the later model with the Shakespeare - type wire frame. Any information about HAWCO would be greatly appreciated. These pictures are the same as those on the Shakespeare page, and listed separately because the HAWCO trap is sometimes not associated with Shakespeare.
